We welcome all who are baptized to take part in communion with us. Come forward at the time of communion, kneel or stand at the rail, place one hand, palm up, inside the other to receive the host, then assist the chalice bearer in guiding the chalice to your lips to receive the sip of wine. If you have concerns about receiving from the Common Cup, full communion may be made without receiving from the chalice.
- If you would like to receive the bread but not the cup, cross your arms over your chest.
- If you choose not to receive communion, you may still come forward and cross your arms over your chest to receive a blessing.
- We have gluten-free wafers available. Please raise your pointer finger if you wish to receive one.
We welcome you, no matter how you are dressed. As a parish in a resort community, clothing at services varies from sundresses for women or nice shorts and shirts for men, to dressier dresses and hats for women and slacks and button-up shirts for men.
There are shell parking lots on the east and south sides of the building. Access the small, east parking lot directly from Gulf Dr. Turn west on 45th street and circle the building to reach the office and the south parking lot. You may enter the church through the Memorial Garden, through Lowe Hall, or through the red doors.
Beachgoers interested in parking may utilize the spaces at the south end of the parking lot, away from the sanctuary and office entrances. Please scan the QR code signs at either outlet to make a donation to the church. Vehicle owner assumes all risk.
